Which edition of Stellar Blade

At the most recent State of Play, we got to see an awesome new Stellar Blade trailer. The game is a sci-fi action game that is being made by Shift Up. Sony clearly has a lot of faith in the game as they are handling the publishing duties themselves. The game just went live for pre-order and today we are looking at what edition of Stellar Blade you should buy!

When Is It Out & What Is It On?

As Stellar Blade is being published by Sony you will not be surprised to hear that the game is only going to be released for the PlayStation 5. The release date is April 26^th, 2024 and that does appear to be pretty dead set as of writing. Of course, with the way Sony exclusives have been the last few years, we would not rule out this showing up on PC at some point down the line. 

Is There A Pre-Order Bonus?

Yup, those who purchase the game before the April 26^th, 2024 release date will get a selection of gear that Even can use.

Stellar Blade Standard Edition

Those who have checked out the trailer and think the game is cool and want it, but do not want to spend more than they have to should go for the Stellar Blade Standard Edition. This is available both digitally and physically and it has an RRP of $69,99/£69,99 so it is a full AAA priced game. However, if you shop around, you can find the physical version a little cheaper. For example, those in the UK can find the game closer to £60 at some stores. With this version, you get the game and that is all. 

Stellar Blade Digital Deluxe Edition

There is only one other version of the game available and that is the Stellar Blade Digital Deluxe Edition. As you have probably already figured out, this is digital only. The asking price for this is not that bad at all. Priced at $79,99/£79,99, they are only asking for ten more  bucks for a bunch of extra in game content which is,

The cosmetics are fun and sure to spice things up a bit. However, it is the in game currency and the SP EXP that is sure to get those who are pumped up about this game excited! This will give you a good head start in the game. 

What Edition Of Stellar Blade Should I Buy?

Unlike other games, Stellar Blade only having two editions to consider does make it a lot easier to decide which one is right for you. Of course, if you are a physical game collector, you will need to get the Stellar Blade Standard Edition. However, if you like the idea of getting all that in game currency and EXP boost, you may want to consider spending the extra ten bucks on the Stellar Blade Digital Deluxe Edition.
