What Edition Of V Rising Should I Buy?

Gothic vampire action RPG V Rising has been available via early access for PC players for a little while now and the game has built quite the following! Well, we now know that V Rising is coming to PlayStation on June 11^th, 2024 and many gamers are very excited to get their hands on this game! As of writing, there is no Xbox version of the game planned and there is also no pre-order bonus listed either. 

We are looking at each edition of the game so you can have a better idea of what edition of V Rising is best for you. 

V Rising Standard Edition

V Rising is digital only. They could make a physical release at a later date, but as of right now, nothing has been announced or even rumored. With a RRP on the PlayStation Store of $39,99/£32,99. It is worth noting that if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can save 10 percent if you purchase the game before the June 11^th release date. With this you just get the base game. 

V Rising Legacy Of Castlevania Edition

How cool is this? Castlevania already did an epic crossover with Dead Cells and this looks just as awesome. This has an RRP of, $59,99/£49,99, but you can save 10 percent if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber. With this, you get 5 days early access, but you also get The Legacy of CastleVania Premium Pack which contains a bunch of cool cosmetic items for your character and castle. From rocking Alucard’s gear to getting cool Castlevania décor and figurines to put in your castle! You even get to listen to some of the most iconic Castlevania music as well.

If you are a big fan of the Castlevania series, you are sure to have a lot of fun sprucing up your castle with the various figures and décor based on the hit Konami franchise that is included in this edition. 

V Rising Complete Edition

The V Rising Complete Edition is priced at $99,99/79,99 and like the other two versions, if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can save yourself 10 percent. You will also get to play the game five days early if you pre-order this edition. With this, you get The Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack. However, you get three other packs too. The Sinister Evolution Pack, Dracula’s Relics Pack, and the Eldest Bloodline Pack. These three packs give you a whole bunch of cool stuff to deck your character out with as well as make your castle look epic.

If you know for sure that this game is going to be something you are all in on, getting these extra packs and the awesome stuff that comes in them is going to be something you have a lot of fun with. 

What Edition Of V Rising Should I Buy?

If you are a fan of the Castlevania series, you 100 percent should go for the V Rising Legacy Of Castlevania Edition! Castlevania does not get much love these days and if you are a big fan of that series, you will get a massive kick out of the stuff included here. The V Rising Complete Edition may be worth considering if you are a Castlevania fan, but you also are loving the whole gothic style that V Rising has as you get some really fun extra stuff to play around with. Of course, those who just think V Rising looks cool and fun, but who have no attachment to Castlevania would be better off getting the V Rising Standard Edition, you could always buy the other DLC later if you love the game.
