Set in Hong Kong with an authentic 1 to 1 recreation, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is an open world racing game that has many long time fans of the series super excited! This was one of the first racing series to go the open world route and it honestly does not get the mainstream love and respect it deserves! Hopefully, this latest entry will change that.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is scheduled for release on September 12th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version has also been announced, but as of writing that version has not been officially confirmed to have the same September 12th release date. There are a few different editions of the game available and we are looking at all of them.
Is There A Pre-Order Bonus?
No matter what edition of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown you pre-order, you will get access to the really cool 2006 Ford GT. However, if you pre-order either the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Silver Sharps or Silver Streets Edition, you will be able to play the game 48 hours earlier and also get early access to the open beta from August 27th to August 30th. Those who pre-order the Gold Edition get an incredible 7 days early access as well as the same early access to the open beat. Gold Edition pre-orders get access to the VIP Beta which runs from August 13th to August 18th.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Standard Edition

This is priced at $59,99/£49,99 and so far, this is the only physical version of the game that is available. You get the base game here which is the perfect way to see if this is a game that is going to be for you.

Next up we have the digital only, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Silver Streets Edition, this and the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Silver Sharps Editions are very similar. This is priced at $79,99/£64,99. This comes with the Silver Streets Pack which comes with a couple of cool cars in the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. You also get the Lord of the Streets Character Outfit and the Streets Sticker Pack which are great for you guys who love to tinker with your cars, you also get the Free Solar Premium Pass which comes with many bonuses as you progress through the game.

The Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is very similar to the Silver Streets Edition. You get the same Free Solar Premium Pass as well as access to the Open Beta and 24 hours early access to play the game. However, the cars and customization stuff you get here is different. This comes with the Silver Sharps Pack which contains the Jaguar F-Type SVT Coupe and the Audi R8 Spyder V10 RWS cars to race with. You also get the Baron of the Sharps Character Outfit and the Sharps Sticker Pack for your car customization.
