Star Wars Outlaws is the upcoming Star Wars game being put out by Ubisoft. This is not the first Star Wars game that Ubisoft has been a part of, but it is easily the highest profile one. Star Wars Outlaws official release date is set for the 30th August 2024 and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Taking place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Outlaws tells a brand new story starring a scoundrel Kay Vess who travels the galaxy looking for riches and adventure in this open world action game!

Star Wars Outlaws will be available on day one for those who are subscribed to Ubisoft Plus Premium. No Game Pass release has been announced as of writing, however, both Ubisoft games and numerous Star Wars games have appeared on Game Pass over the years.
Does Star Wars Outlaws Have A Pre-Order Bonus?

Star Wars Outlaws Standard Edition
The base version of the game is the Star Wars Outlaws Standard Edition. This is available digitally on all three platforms, but also physically on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. With this, you get the game (and the pre-order content if you purchase before the August 30th release date) and that is it. This has an RRP of $69,99/£69,99. However, if you are getting the game physically on PlayStation or Xbox, you can find it for a bit cheaper.
Star Wars Outlaws Special Edition
As well as getting the base game, the Star Wars Outlaws Special Edition also comes with the Sabacc Shark Character Pack. This is really fun as it gives Kay some neat cosmetics for her clothing and her blaster. You also get a fun cosmetic pack for her little buddy, Nix too. You are looking at $69,99/£64,99 for this edition. This version of the game is exclusive to GameStop in the USA and Game in the UK.

The Star Wars Limited Edition is exclusive at Amazon in both the USA and UK. Amazon USA has this listed at $69,99, but there is no price in the UK as of writing. This version of the game comes with The Rogue Infiltrator Pack which comes with cosmetics for Kay and Nix.

Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition
The final and most expensive version of the game is the Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition. With this, you get three days early access, and the season pass. There has been a lot of buzz that the Gold Edition gives you access to more story content, most notably the Jabba’s Gambit mission that will be available at the launch of the game! The Season Pass also includes another story mission which will be released at a later date. The RRP for this edition is $109,99/£99,99.

Last, but by no means least we have the digital only, Star Wars Outlaws Ultimate Edition. This basically combines the other aspects of the other editions. What Edition Of Star Wars Outlaws Should I Buy?
At the end of the day, it all depends on what you want out of the game. To be honest, either the Star Wars Limited or Special Edition versions are a better deal than the Standard Edition as for just a couple of extra bucks or pounds you get a fun cosmetic pack. For those who are huge Star Wars fans and are eagerly awaiting Star Wars Outlaws for the story as much as the gameplay. You may want to consider the Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition as you get the extra story content that comes with the season pass, one of which is available on day one! The Star Wars Outlaws Ultimate Edition has been a bit of a hot debate online with many people questioning the asking price for it.
