What edition of Rise of the Ronin should I Buy? 

Rise of the Ronin is now available for pre-order and today we are looking at the different editions that are available. PlayStation 5 owners are in for a real treat during the first quarter of 2024. From January to March, each month features a blockbuster exclusive title. The Last of Us Part II Remastered drops in January, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in February, and then Rise of the Ronan the following month. With the game being made by Team Ninja and published by Sony themselves, gamers are very excited about this action RPG!

When Is It Out And What Is It On?

As we just said, Rise of the Ronin is a PlayStation 5 exclusive and there is not even a PlayStation 4 version of the game. While nothing has been said yet, we would imagine that a PC port down the line is not completely out of the question. Sony has said that the release date for the game will be March 22^nd, 2024. 

Is There A Pre-Order Bonus?

Those who pre-order Rise of the Ronin before the March 22^nd release date will get access to the Iga Ninja’s Katana and Armor Set and also Four Combat Styles. 

Rise of the Ronin Standard Edition 

The Rise of the Ronin Standard Edition can be purchased both physically and digitally. This is a modern AAA game so that means it has the now standard $69,99/£69,99 price tag. However, if you shop around you can find the physical version a bit cheaper, as of writing the cheapest we have seen it is from UK retailer Hit and they have it for £63.85. 

Rise of the Ronin Digital Deluxe Edition

The only other version of the game that has been announced is the Rise of the Ronin Digital Deluxe Edition and this as the title suggests, is digital only. This is priced at $79,99/£79,99 and for your extra ten bucks or pounds, you get some pretty cool stuff such as a digital artbook and soundtrack.

If you are someone who likes to have physical games in your collection, this could not be any simpler, you buy the Rise of the Ronin Standard Edition, just make sure you shop around to get it at the best price! However, the Rise of the Ronin Digital Deluxe Edition does come with some cool stuff and if you are someone who enjoys looking through a digital art book and listening to a digital soundtrack, it could be worth paying that little bit extra.
