When Is It Out & What Is It On?

Need for Speed Unbound will be released on December 2^nd for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. There is NO PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Need for Speed Unbound Standard Edition

This is the base version of the game that is available for all three platforms. On PS5 and Xbox Series, you can get it either digitally or physically. You get the base version of the game as well as the pre-order content if you decide to pre-order the game.

Well, Amazon has a version of this listed that comes with all the physical items, except it does not actually come with the game. Now at first glance, this seems like the dumbest idea ever. However, if you get the PC version of the game, you could then buy this and get all of the goodies that the PS5 and Xbox Series players are getting too.

EA Play vs EA Play Pro

There is one more thing we need to talk about regarding playing Need for Speed Unbound and that is if you are an EA Play or EA Play Pro subscriber. If you are a standard EA Play member, you can play the game earlier on November 29^th. You also get in game member awards as well as a 10 percent discount on DLC. Now, if you are an EA Play Pro member, you get those same benefits, but it is the Need for Speed Palace version of the game you get access to, so you get that extra content.

Which Version Of Need for Speed Unbound Should I Buy?

If you are a die-hard Need for Speed fanatic, you may want to go for the Need for Speed Unbound Creative Subversion Kit. It is awesome how it comes with a bunch of cool physical items that would be great to add to your collection. For those that just want to “play” the game and are not bothered about any of the extras, the standard edition of the game should be fine for you.
