What edition of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly should I buy?  

It is fair to say that more than a few people are excited about the release of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly. With this being released on Game Pass, more people have managed to see what this fantastic story driven game is about. You are a barista in a version of Seattle that is very different from the one we know. Humans, orcs, robots, and more species live together and you try to warm people’s hearts by making them awesome cups of Joe!

Today we are looking at the different versions of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly that will be released so you can have a better idea of which one is for you.

When Is It Out & What Is It On

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is scheduled for an April 20th release. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Digital Edition

Like the first game, Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly will be released digitally on all platforms. As far as we know as of writing this is the only way to get the game on Xbox and PC. This is the base version of the game and as of writing, Steam actually has Episode 1 on clearance! However, it would not be shocking to see a digital bundle of episodes 1 and 2 together.

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Single Shot Edition

It is awesome that we are getting a physical release of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly with the Single Shot Edition. With this, you get a physical copy of the game, a lovely illustrated inner coversheet, a set of stickers, a cute wooden keychain, and a digital soundtrack. This is currently listed at $39.99 which is a great price considering the extras you get with it.

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Collectors Edition

The Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Collectors Edition is listed at $99.99. You get all of the content you get with the Single Shot Edition, but there are some pretty neat extra collectibles here. The coolest item is this acrylic collector stand that comes with a series of café patrons that you can display any way you want. It also comes with a mini-comic, a memo pad, and a tea towel and it all comes packaged in a fantastic collector’s box.

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Double Shot Bundle

The “big boy” edition of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is the Double Shot Bundle. With this, you get all of the items that you get with the other two versions of the game. However, this also comes with Coffee Talk Episode 1, and included with that is another sticker sheet, another keychain, and another digital soundtrack! However, there is more! You also get this epic collectors Coffee Talk themed coffee mug and an embroidered patch. The price for this is $149,99, but when you consider you get both games and a bunch of physical items it is not a bad deal at all.

Coffee Talk Episode 1: Single Shot Edition

Now, this is awesome! While we are talking about Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly, we do also have to let you know that they are releasing a physical version of the first game too! Just like with Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly: Single Shot Edition, you get an illustrated inner cover sheet, a set of stickers, a wooden keychain, and a digital soundtrack too. This like the Single Shot Edition for Episode 2 will cost you $39.99.

Which Version of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Should I Buy?

If you are a big enough fan of the first game that you know for sure you want a physical copy of the second game, you might as well get both! You can either get the Single Shot editions of both games or get them both in that Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly Double Shot bundle which will give you a bunch of cool physical items as well. If you just want to play the game as you enjoyed the first, the standard digital version is probably the way to go.
